Institutional Acquisitions

Hertz Realty Group advises and assists our institutional clients with their industrial acquisitions platforms. We do this by both sourcing institutional quality assets and assisting with financial analysis to our select group of clients based on their specific investment criteria. We strictly limit our client base to work more closely with them and develop a deeper understanding of their needs. Most importantly, we uncover acquisition opportunities by developing relationships with key decision makers and C-Suite executives of institutional quality assets. 

Capital Markets Advisory

We provide independent and objective advice on critical capital market judgments our clients would have to make during the underwriting process. To facilitate transaction closings, we work hand-in-hand with our clients to provide a unique combination of industry expertise, C-Suite relationships and access to key decision makers. 


Hertz Realty Group conducts commercial real estate brokerage, investment sales, and site selection services. With an emphasis on large industrial sites, land assemblages, and redevelopment opportunities, we add value by leveraging our existing relationships to facilitate transactions. Most of our transactions are executed with competitive pricing without the long and expensive process of taking a property on the open market.

Branden Hertz

Branden transitioned directly into real estate after graduating from the University of Miami. After graduation, he started buying banknotes at a fraction of the price during the bust of 2008, rehabbing and re-tenanting the properties as a long term hold. From here, Branden segued into commercial investments, as he has recently obtained $3M in incentives from the City Fort Lauderdale’s CRA program to develop a Comfort Suites hotel with his partners.

Branden’s primary focus today is industrial real estate in select MSAs across the country, diligently working towards sourcing, value-add, infill, and redevelopment sites for large corporations, developers, private trusts, and multiple REIT’s.

In his free time, Branden can be found training for triathlons, boating, fishing, and enjoying his time with his son, Huxley.

Rotem Hoffman

Rotem specializes in specializes in sourcing industrial acquisitions and development opportunities for our institutional clients.  His experience with financial modeling and tenacity for market research leads him to discover opportunities that may be missed by others.

Rotem’s first foray into real estate was buying industrial properties for his ecommerce business. His experience with ecommerce distribution and fulfillment gave him a unique perspective for the growing need of industrial space in tomorrow’s economy. 

In his free time, Rotem can be found shooting hoops, debating (arguing) politics and reading up on Modern History.

Richard Redmond

Richard (Rick) Redmond joined the Hertz Group in May of 2021, specializing in acquisitions and dispositions of single and multi-tenant industrial properties, focusing on sourcing off-market industrial investment opportunities throughout the United States for his clients. Most recently, Rick was a broker with Marcus & Millichap with a track record of Industrial and Office investment sales. Before joining Marcus, Rick served in the Army and reserve components for nearly ten years, was a Superintendent for General Dynamics Electric Boat on a classified nuclear engine room project. He carries an array of experience and understanding of residential and commercial construction as well as logistics.

Rick began college at The University of Arizona. After completing his sophomore year in 2010, he was unexpectedly deployed to Eastern Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He served multiple roles from Unit Armorer to convoy security, high-profile security details, and logistical operations. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from The College of Charleston, where he studied political science and leadership. He studied management and international business at Management Center Innsbruck, Austria. Rick commissioned as an Army Ordnance Officer at The Citadel- The Military College of South Carolina to later study at the Army Logistics University, VA.

Rick maintains a mission-focused attitude to proudly serve his clients in the creation and preservation of wealth through advisory services, asset valuation, sale-leaseback positioning, and capital markets. Redmond holds a strong passion for real estate and creative advisory-based solutions to overcome complex obstacles.

In his free time, Rick can be found traveling the world, spending time outdoors, boating, skydiving, hiking, and fishing.

Santiago Acevedo

Santiago is the newest and youngest member of the Hertz Group. With a strong background in advanced mathematics and analytical skills, Santiago is responsible for assisting in our financial modeling, due diligence, market research and trend analysis throughout the top industrial markets in the country.

Santiago’s entrepreneurial mindset and energetic attitude fits right in the fast-paced and fun working environment of the Hertz Realty Group. Santiago is currently working to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at Florida Atlantic University.

While not working or studying, Santiago can be found riding his motorcycle, lifting iron and wakeboarding.
